Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Emergency’ to Stream on Netflix on This Date

February 21, 2024: Kangana Ranaut has officially announced the OTT release of her latest film, Emergency, which will be available for streaming on Netflix from March 17, 2025. The film, which hit theatres on January 17, 2025, underperformed at the box office, grossing ₹21.65 crore in India, as per Sacnilk.com.

Kangana Confirms OTT Release

Taking to Instagram Stories, Kangana shared a fan post featuring collages of her and Indira Gandhi, confirming the film’s streaming debut. She simply wrote, “17th March releasing on @netflix.”

About ‘Emergency’

Directed by and starring Kangana Ranaut, Emergency is a political drama centered around the Emergency period (1975-1977) declared by former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. The film delves into one of India’s most controversial political phases, exploring power struggles and governance challenges.
