June 29, 2025: Vishnu Manchu’s mythological fantasy Kannappa is gaining traction at the box office. After opening with a promising ₹9.35 crore net in India, the film held strong on Saturday, collecting an estimated ₹7 crore across all languages, taking its two-day total to ₹16.35 crore net.

With its gripping devotional theme and cameos from big stars like Prabhas and Akshay Kumar, Kannappa is now eyeing the ₹20 crore mark, which it is expected to cross on its first Sunday, thanks to positive reviews and rising footfall.
Day 1 Global Performance
On Day 1, Kannappa grossed ₹11 crore in India and added ₹2 crore from overseas markets, bringing its worldwide total to ₹13 crore gross on opening day alone. It is already being touted as Vishnu Manchu’s biggest box office success to date, and has become the 8th highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 so far.
