
Kannappa Box Office Collection Day 2: Vishnu Manchu’s Mythological Drama Crosses ₹16 Crore, Eyes ₹20 Crore Weekend
June 29, 2025: Vishnu Manchu’s mythological fantasy Kannappa is gaining traction at the box office. After opening with a promising ₹9.35 crore net in India, the film held strong on Saturday, collecting an estimated ₹7 crore across all languages, taking its two-day total to ₹16.35 crore net.

With its gripping devotional theme and cameos from big stars like Prabhas and Akshay Kumar, Kannappa is now eyeing the ₹20 crore mark, which it is expected to cross on its first Sunday, thanks to positive reviews and rising footfall.
On Day 1, Kannappa grossed ₹11 crore in India and added ₹2 crore from overseas markets, bringing its worldwide total to ₹13 crore gross on opening day alone. It is already being touted as Vishnu Manchu’s biggest box office success to date, and has become the 8th highest-grossing Indian film of 2025 so far.
The ensemble cast — featuring Akshay Kumar as Lord Shiva, Prabhas as Rudra, and Mohanlal as Kirata — has been a huge draw. Fans have especially praised Akshay and Prabhas for their impactful cameos.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, Kannappa tells the story of Thinnadu, a fierce hunter who undergoes a spiritual awakening and becomes one of Lord Shiva’s most devoted disciples. The mythological drama blends action, emotion, and faith in a visually rich narrative.
