‘Kannappa’ : Makers Unveils Akshay Kumar’s Captivating Poster In Role Of Lord Shiva

Akshay Kumar is keeping busy with a diverse range of upcoming films, continuing to cement his status as one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors.

On his 57th birthday, the team behind the Telugu film Kannappa shared a special tribute, releasing a teaser poster of Akshay as Lord Shiva. The character reveal, although partial, sparked excitement among fans.

Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh and produced by Vishnu Manchu’s banners, the film features a stellar ensemble cast including Mohanlal and R Sarathkumar and will be released in multiple languages.

In addition to Kannappa, Akshay announced his collaboration with director Priyadarshan for Bhooth Bangla, marking their reunion after 14 years. The film’s eerie motion poster, featuring Akshay with a black cat, caught cinephiles’ attention. Produced by Ektaa Kapoor, it is expected to release in 2025.

Akshay is also receiving praise for his cameo in Stree 2 and his recent film Khel Khel Mein, where he starred alongside a strong cast. Moreover, his role in Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated cop drama Singham Again is eagerly awaited by fans, with the film set to hit theatres during Diwali.
