Karan Aujla Faces Cheating Allegations
Canada-based artist claims she was unaware of singer’s marriage, alleges silence and defamation
January 13, 2026: Popular Punjabi singer Karan Aujla has landed in controversy after a Canada-based artist accused him of cheating and misleading her about his marital status. The woman, who goes by msgorimusic on Instagram and is part of the Twin Rap Duo Nyx & Nym, claimed she was in a private relationship with Aujla without knowing he was married to Palak Aujla. Screenshots of her statements surfaced on Reddit and quickly went viral, triggering widespread discussion online.
In her post, the artist alleged that after the relationship came to light, she was “silenced and publicly shamed.” She further claimed that Aujla’s team contacted an Indian influencer to circulate false information to manage the fallout. The woman also alleged that false criminal accusations were spread against her, adding that authorities in Canada and the US were looking into the matter. She said a major US media outlet is preparing to interview her, prompting her to speak out publicly.
Continuing to address the issue through Instagram Stories, the artist said she was refusing to stay silent and spoke about power, accountability, and women reclaiming their voices. Karan Aujla, whose real name is Jaskaran Singh Aujla, married his childhood sweetheart Palak Aujla in a private ceremony in Mexico in 2023, after reportedly being in a long-term relationship for nearly a decade.
