Renowned filmmaker Karan Johar is poised to be recognized at the prestigious third annual Gold House Gala in May. The event, slated to be a star-studded affair, will also honor luminaries such as Steven Yeun, Lucy Liu, Bang Si-Hyuk, and the iconic Hello Kitty. The announcement was made via the official Instagram handle of the Gold House Gala.
The Gold Gala serves as a platform where top Asian Pacific and multicultural leaders come together to celebrate the 2024 A100 List, which highlights the 100 most influential changemakers in culture and society over the past year, as reported by Variety. The A100 honorees will be unveiled on May 1.
Themed “A Gold New World,” this year’s event envisions a future that embraces diversity and inclusivity. Luxury fashion designer Prabal Gurung will serve as the inaugural Creative Director for the Gold Gala, bringing this vision to life. The gala is scheduled to take place at the historic Music Center in downtown Los Angeles on May 11.
