Taking to Instagram, Karan’s longtime stylist Eka Lakhani shared a series of snapshots from the event, writing, “Karan Johar for Traitors!” The filmmaker was seen in a custom ivory trench coat set, layered over a black oversized shirt and loose-fitting trousers. The look, which blended luxury with cultural symbolism, highlighted Karan’s signature bold aesthetic.

The trench coat, known as the ‘Crescent Palm Trench Coat Set’, featured Masaba’s hallmark motifs like the ‘Palm’ and ‘Matsya’, along with special hand-embroidered elements including the ‘Son Chand’ and ‘Stalk of Maize’—both designed specifically for Karan. Each detail on the garment reflected a fusion of art, spirituality, and fashion-forward thinking.

Adding a touch of fine jewellery to the look, Karan wore the ‘Nirbhau Nirvair Nimrata’ choker—a standout piece from the Masaba x Amrapali Fine Jewellery collaboration. Crafted in 18-karat gold and adorned with full-cut diamonds, the choker’s message translates to “without fear, without hate, with love,” resonating with Karan’s fearless fashion sensibility.

He completed his look with polished black dress shoes by Bottega Veneta and a pair of clear Gucci spectacles, rounding out a look that was as refined as it was audacious.
