Kareena Kapoor Ditches Guns N' Roses for a Private Jam Session with Saif & Taimur
May 19, 2025: While Mumbai swayed to the iconic tunes of Guns N’ Roses on May 17 at the Mahalaxmi Race Course, Kareena Kapoor Khan was enjoying a musical evening of a more intimate kind — at home, with her “own band people.” The actress gave fans a sneak peek into a heartwarming family jam session featuring husband Saif Ali Khan and their son Taimur Ali Khan.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Kareena shared two candid photos from what appeared to be a cozy music studio in their home. One image shows Saif Ali Khan — effortlessly cool in a black T-shirt and sunglasses — playing the guitar. Opposite him sits 8-year-old Taimur, wearing headphones and strumming a guitar of his own.
Kareena cheekily captioned the picture: “Might have missed Guns N’ Roses, but I got my own band people.”
The glimpse into their home life has left fans swooning over the family’s low-key but wholesome vibe. While the world rocked out to Sweet Child O’ Mine, Kareena’s own “sweet child” was clearly the star of her show.
Earlier this month, Kareena also made headlines for her presence at the WAVES Summit 2025, where she participated in a panel discussing India’s evolving influence on the global entertainment stage.
Clad in a stunning floral blue saree, Kareena shared her thoughts on the vibrancy of Hindi cinema:
“I am very happy with my Indian movies. It is so much fun to dance to our Hindi songs and deliver Hindi dialogues.”
Reflecting on India’s growing cultural footprint, she later posted:
“So honoured to be part of a panel discussion at the WAVES Summit, where India isn’t just part of the global entertainment conversation — we’re driving it.”
