Kareena Kapoor Khan Visits Hospital To Meet Husband Saif Ali Khan

January 18, 2025: Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is recovering after undergoing surgery for injuries he sustained during an attack at his Bandra home early Thursday morning. The incident occurred when an intruder allegedly confronted the actor’s maid, and Saif, attempting to intervene, was attacked and left with stab wounds to his thoracic spine. The actor was immediately rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital for treatment, where he underwent a surgery to remove a 2.5-inch-long blade lodged in his spine.

On Saturday, Saif’s wife, actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, was seen visiting him at the hospital, dressed casually in a grey T-shirt, black sunglasses, and blue denim jeans. She was escorted by security as she entered the premises. Hospital administration confirmed that Saif is doing well and has been moved from the ICU to a regular room.

Saif’s sister, actress Soha Ali Khan, and her husband, actor Kunal Kemmu, were also spotted at the hospital earlier in the day. His mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, visited the hospital on Friday to check on her son’s recovery.

Doctors reported that Saif sustained significant injury to his spinal cord but assured that he is “out of danger.” His condition remains under close observation as part of his recovery process.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have launched an extensive investigation to locate the assailant, forming 20 teams. They are reviewing CCTV footage and questioning over 30 individuals, including Saif’s staff and those in the vicinity of his home at the time of the attack. Kareena Kapoor Khan also provided a statement to the police on Friday evening as part of the investigation.
