January 17, 2025: Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan has arrived at Lilavati Hospital to check on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, following the violent attack on him at his Bandra residence early Thursday morning. Accompanied by security personnel, Kareena was seen entering the hospital, dressed in a plain white T-shirt and black sunglasses.
Along with Kareena, Saif’s mother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore, also arrived at the hospital to check on her son’s condition after his surgery.
Soha Ali Khan, Saif’s sister, and her husband Kunal Kemmu were also seen at the hospital, offering support during this difficult time. Saif had been attacked by an intruder at around 2:30 AM on Thursday when the attacker confronted Saif’s maid at his home. Saif attempted to intervene, but the situation escalated, resulting in several stab wounds.
Saif was immediately rushed to Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital, where doctors performed surgery to remove a 2.5-inch knife lodged in his spine and repair his ‘leaking spinal fluid.’ While Saif is now “out of danger,” doctors are continuing to monitor his recovery closely.
Meanwhile, Mumbai Police have detained one individual in connection with the attack, bringing them to the Bandra police station for further questioning. The investigation continues as authorities work to gather more details about the incident.
