Kareena Praises Shloka Mehta’s ‘Bole Chudiyan’-Inspired Look

Kareena Kapoor Khan’s iconic look from the “Bole Chudiyan” song in the film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham continues to inspire fashion even 23 years after the movie’s release. Shloka Mehta recently walked down memory lane, choosing an ensemble reminiscent of Kareena’s look for the sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant.

Shloka’s custom peach lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra. Her sister, Diya Mehta, who is a fashion consultant, shared pictures of Shloka in the outfit on Instagram. Diya wrote, “Looking PHAT! While conceptualizing the sangeet look, we wanted something fun, elegant, and ‘iconic.’ After multiple rounds of discussions, we decided to recreate the OG @manishmalhotra05 ‘Bole Chudiyan’ look. It was an absolute blast.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan herself gave a shout-out to Shloka’s outfit. On her Instagram Story, Kareena wrote, “Bole Chudiyaan 🌈❤️ Shloka, you look gorgeous.”

Kareena missed attending the sangeet ceremony as she is currently out of the country, vacationing with her husband Saif Ali Khan and their sons, Taimur and Jeh.
