Kareena, Soha Ali Khan, Kunal Kemmu Visit Hospital To Keep A Check On Saif

January 16, 2025: Family and close friends have gathered at Lilavati Hospital following the shocking attack on Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan by an intruder at his Bandra residence.

On Thursday, Saif’s wife Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen at the hospital, along with his sister Soha Ali Khan and brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu. Saif’s children, Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, also arrived to be with their father during this difficult time.

Saif sustained a serious thoracic spinal cord injury during the incident. According to Dr. Nitin Dange, who treated Saif at Lilavati Hospital, the actor was admitted at 2 a.m. with a knife lodged in his spine. “A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid. He also sustained deep wounds on his left hand and neck, which were treated by the plastic surgery team. He is now completely stable, recovering well, and out of danger,” Dr. Dange stated.

Saif’s team issued a statement earlier confirming that the actor is out of danger and in recovery. “Saif Ali Khan has come out of surgery and is out of danger. He is currently recovering, and the doctors are monitoring his progress. All family members are safe, and the police are investigating the incident,” the statement read. The team also thanked the medical staff at Lilavati Hospital for their care and expressed gratitude to fans for their support.

Mumbai Police are investigating the attack, which is believed to have been an attempted burglary. DCP Dixit Gedam, part of the investigation team, confirmed that one of the accused has been identified. “The accused used the fire escape to enter the building. So far, the investigation suggests it was an attempted burglary. We are making every effort to arrest the accused as soon as possible,” he stated, adding that multiple teams are working to capture the suspect.

The incident occurred when an intruder allegedly confronted Saif’s maid, and when the actor tried to intervene, the situation escalated into a physical altercation. Saif was injured during the scuffle and rushed to the hospital for treatment.
