Chandu Champion
Actor Kartik Aaryan received a heartwarming welcome as he landed at Gwalior airport, his hometown, for the grand trailer launch of his upcoming boxing drama, ‘Chandu Champion’. The actor was greeted with exuberant celebrations, including the rhythmic beats of dhol and enthusiastic cheers from fans and media.
In visuals circulating online, Kartik can be seen smiling warmly as he is welcomed with great fervor. Accompanying him were his father and the film’s director, Kabir Khan.
Kartik has recently stunned everyone with his dramatic physical transformation for the film. Sharing posters from ‘Chandu Champion’, Kabir Khan revealed on Instagram that Kartik lost 32 percent body fat without using steroids, a testament to his dedication.
“Chandu Nahi… Champion Hai Mai… The story of Chandu Champion is an incredibly inspiring true story but the journey that Kartik went through to become this champion is no less inspiring. I met him when he had put on weight for a role. He had 39 percent body fat. I told him that he had to portray an international level multi-disciplinary sportsperson. He just smiled and said ‘I will do it Sir’. A year and a half later with no use of steroids – something that he was adamant about – we took this photo on set. Body fat 7 percent! I’m proud of you @kartikaaryan,” Kabir Khan wrote.
The actor’s subsequent poster, showcasing him in boxing gloves and with a fierce expression, has further heightened anticipation for the film. The internet has erupted with praise for Aaryan’s commitment and transformation. Actor Ronit Roy commented, “Oh Damn!!!!!! I met you when you had started preparing for this. I had sensed something awesome but this photo signals something beyond awesome. Now can’t wait to view the movie!”
Fans have echoed similar sentiments, lauding Aaryan’s incredible transformation and eagerly awaiting the film’s release.
