Actor Kartik Aaryan, known for his charming screen presence and comedic timing, recently appeared on the finale episode of ‘The Great Indian Kapil Show’ alongside his mother. The episode, which has already created a buzz, features candid and humorous exchanges between Kartik, his mother, and host Kapil Sharma.
On Wednesday, Netflix India released a promo for the episode, giving fans a glimpse of the fun-filled interactions. The promo opens with Kartik expressing his nervousness about sharing the stage with his mother. In a light-hearted moment, Kartik’s mother humorously pulls his leg, leaving him to request, “Mom, please say something positive about me.”
Kartik’s mother doesn’t hold back and playfully shares her wish for a doctor as her daughter-in-law, much to the amusement of the audience and Kartik himself. The snippet also features the comedic talents of Krushna Abhishek and Sunil Grover, who make appearances as Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, respectively. Kartik’s father and sister are seen enjoying the show from the audience, adding to the family atmosphere.
While the episode promises laughter and family fun, Kartik Aaryan is also receiving significant praise for his role in ‘Chandu Champion.’ Directed by Kabir Khan, the film tells the inspiring story of Murlikant Petkar, India’s first Paralympic gold medalist in freestyle swimming. Kartik’s portrayal of Chandu, a determined athlete, has been lauded by fans, critics, and industry veterans alike.
Veteran actor Shabana Azmi recently praised Kartik’s performance. She shared a picture with Kartik from the film’s screening on Instagram, writing, “I was deeply moved by #Kabir Khans film #ChanduChampion and I loved #Kartik Aryans portrayal. He played it with an almost childlike determination with an extremely winsome smile which prevented him from projecting it as arrogance. #Vijay Raaz as the coach is very effective. It’s a real-life story, and I say Salaam (salute) Kabir for making it.”
In response, Kartik reposted Shabana’s post and expressed his gratitude, saying, “Mujhe Meri Eidi Mil Gayi (I got my Eidi). Every word you said feels like a medal for me.”
