Chandu Champion
The excitement mounts for fans of Kartik Aaryan as the trailer of the much-anticipated sports drama ‘Chandu Champion’ is set to be launched in the actor’s hometown of Gwalior. Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan have orchestrated this special event, scheduled for May 18, where Kartik’s community will have the first glimpse of the film.
Recently, Kartik shared the film’s intriguing first poster on Instagram, teasing his followers with a glimpse into what promises to be a challenging and memorable cinematic journey. The poster showcases Kartik in an entirely new avatar, portraying a wrestler with intense determination, covered in mud and clad in a ‘langot’ (loincloth).
Adding to the excitement, Kartik’s promotional plans hit an unexpected snag when his furry friend Katori took a playful turn and tore down the film’s poster in a cute video shared by the actor. Despite the delay caused by Katori’s antics, fans are eagerly awaiting the trailer launch.
Directed by Kabir Khan, ‘Chandu Champion’ narrates the extraordinary real-life story of a sportsman and his unwavering spirit, with Kartik essaying the role of Chandu. Kartik’s dedication to the role is evident in his remarkable physical transformation and his diligent efforts to master the Marathi dialect, a crucial aspect of the character.
The film, slated for release on June 14, 2024, promises to captivate audiences with its compelling narrative and Kartik’s stellar performance. Additionally, fans can anticipate Kartik’s upcoming projects, including the horror comedy ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3,’ set for a Diwali 2024 release, and roles in director Hansal Mehta’s ‘Captain India’ and Anurag Basu’s ‘Aashiqui 3.’ With such diverse roles in his pipeline, Kartik continues to solidify his position as one of Bollywood’s most versatile actors.
