Akshay Kumar’s Kesari Chapter 2, a historical courtroom drama co-starring R Madhavan and Ananya Panday, has wrapped up its first weekend at the Indian box office with a healthy performance. The film showed strong word-of-mouth traction and consistent growth over the weekend, especially in key territories.

On Day 3 (Sunday), the film earned ₹11.70 crore net, translating to a gross of ₹13.80 crore, reflecting a solid 16% jump from its Day 2 earnings of ₹10.08 crore. Notably, Kesari Chapter 2 witnessed impressive 50% growth in regions like Nizam, Punjab, and West Bengal, indicating strong regional acceptance.

The film’s opening weekend total now stands at ₹29.62 crore net, making it the fifth-highest opening weekend of 2025 so far — behind Chhaava (₹121.43 crore), Sikandar (₹86.44 crore), Sky Force (₹73.20 crore), and Jaat (₹40.62 crore).
