His last Bollywood appearance was in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016). Prior to that, Fawad became a household name in India with his performances in the hit Pakistani drama Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2012), and his Bollywood films Khoobsurat (2014) and Kapoor & Sons (2016).
