Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan Shine in New Song from Loveyapa
Mumbai, January 23: The much-awaited romantic drama Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, has unveiled its latest track, “Kaun Kinna Zaroori Si.” This soulful number, crooned by Vishal Mishra with lyrics by Dhrruv Yogi and music composed by Suyyash Rai and Siddharth Singh, beautifully captures the emotional turmoil of separation.
In a recent interview, Khushi and Junaid shared insights into their on-set camaraderie. Junaid playfully teased Khushi about her punctuality.
“I have one complaint about Khushi Ji,” Junaid quipped. “If the call time is 6:00 AM, she reaches by 5:30 AM. It’s very annoying because she’s always early, while I just make it on time.”
Khushi attributed her habit of early arrivals to childhood discipline. “I get tense even if I’m five seconds late. My hairstylist and makeup team even tell me not to come before them! Sometimes, I’m on set before the generators start.”
Aamir Khan, who has been actively promoting his son Junaid’s Bollywood debut, showered praise on the Loveyapa cast after watching a rough cut of the film. He likened Khushi’s performance to that of her late mother, Sridevi.
“When I watched the film and saw Khushi, I felt like I was watching Sridevi,” Aamir shared. “Her energy reminded me of her mother. I’m a huge fan of Sridevi, and Khushi has done a fantastic job.”
Responding humbly, Khushi expressed her gratitude while acknowledging her journey has just begun. “It’s sweet of him to say that, but I have a lot to learn. I can’t even come close to my mother in terms of skills.”
Directed by Advait Chandan, Loveyapa explores modern relationships shaped by technology and the humorous complications that arise. The film is set to hit theaters on February 7.
With promising performances and a soulful soundtrack, Loveyapa is poised to make a mark in Bollywood this year.
