Kichcha Sudeep’s ‘BRB: First Blood’ Goes On Floors With Exciting New Poster Reveal, Take A Look!

April 17, 2025: The highly anticipated sci-fi action film BRB First Blood (Billa Ranga Baasha), starring Kannada superstar Kichcha Sudeep, has officially begun filming. The movie is directed by Anup Bhandari, known for his previous hit Vikrant Rona, and is produced by Prime Show Entertainment.

On Wednesday, Sudeep shared a poster from the film on his social media, along with a note expressing his excitement about the project. He wrote, “2209 AD – #BRBFirstBlood: The journey begins today. For us, this mammoth dream and vision of our team going on floor is an unparalleled excitement.”

The poster features Sudeep standing in a snow-covered landscape, with snow goggles resting on his forehead. The goggles reflect a fiery apocalyptic scene, giving fans a glimpse into the film’s dramatic setting. The story is set in a post-apocalyptic world in the year 2209 AD.

BRB First Blood marks a reunion between Sudeep and director Anup Bhandari after their successful collaboration on Vikrant Rona. The film was initially announced on Sudeep’s birthday last year and is being planned as a two-part series, generating immense anticipation among fans.

The movie is backed by K Niranjan Reddy and Chaitanya Reddy, who previously produced the superhero film Hanu-Man.

Before embarking on this new project, Sudeep was seen in the action thriller Max, which released during Christmas last year. Directed by Vijay Karthikeyaa, Max marked his return to theatres after a gap of almost three years. The film, where Sudeep portrayed Inspector Arjun Mahakshay, received praise for its action sequences and his powerful performance.

With BRB First Blood, Sudeep promises to deliver another high-octane performance in a new genre, raising expectations for what’s to come.
