Kiku Sharda Breaks Silence On Viral Fight Video With Krushna Abhishek

Comedian Kiku Sharda has finally addressed the viral video showing a heated argument with Krushna Abhishek, revealing it was a staged prank. The clarification puts to rest rumors of a fallout and his departure from The Great Indian Kapil Show.

September 6, 2025: After a viral video showed a furious confrontation on the set of The Great Indian Kapil program, comedian Kiku Sharda put the record right by saying that the fight was a joke and that he has not left the program. The video led to a lot of reports that Kiku was leaving because he and fellow comic Krushna Abhishek had a fight.

Kiku posted a picture with Krushna on Instagram and wrote, “Yeh bandhan… kabhi nahi tootega!” It was just a joke that they were “fighting.” He told supporters not to trust the allegations and promised that he will “always be a part of the show and this parivaar (family).”

A prank that went over well and a new Task

Sources from the program said that the fight was a planned prank on a guest and that the two comedians filmed more episodes together after that. Fans were happy to hear the news and turned to social media to share their joy. Some people said they had always thought it was a joke, while others said they couldn’t picture the show without him.

People also thought Kiku was leaving since he was on a new reality show called Rise and Fall, which Ashneer Grover helmed. Kiku, on the other hand, made it clear that he just started working on the new program after finishing filming for the current season of The Great Indian Kapil program. This put an end to all rumors of a fight or a leave. Today, September 6, 2025, Amazon MX Player started broadcasting the new reality program, which has 15 famous competitors.
