‘Killer Soup’ trailer out now: Manoj Bajpayee’s crime series

The trailer for the upcoming crime series “Killer Soup” was released by its creators on Wednesday. The over-the-top network Netflix posted the video to Instagram with the following caption: “Umesh and Swathi are brewing the weirdest crime thriller of the year—and the secrets are about to boil over! GET THE KILLER SOUP TRAILER NOW!!”

The protagonist of the show is Swathi Shetty, an aspiring chef who wants her soup to be enjoyed by everyone. After a single mishap, a series of mishaps and desperate attempts at cover-ups land her and her partner in hot water. “For the first time in my career, I will be playing a double role, both starkly different from each other,” said actor Manoj Bajpayee, who will portray Umesh, Swathi’s lover. I had faith in the directing skills of Abhishek Chaubey, Netflix’s cooperation, and an exceptional cast that brought characters to life to create an uncanny pot-boiler that was unmatched and based on an unintentional crime. Killer Soup is fundamentally a multi-genre crime thriller that is meant to be enjoyed by all.”

Actor Konkana Sensharma, who played Swathi Shetty, said of the role: “Being Swathi Shetty was a unique experience for me because the character has depth, darkness, and a lot of punch. Manoj Bajpayee, Konkona Sensharma, Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, Lal, Anbuthasan, Anula Navlekar, and Kani Kusruti play important roles in the Abhishek Chaubey-directed series. “Killer Soup,” which is produced by Honey Trehan and Chetana Kowshik, will debut on Netflix on January 11, 2024.
