Kim Kardashian Condemns ICE Raids in L.A.: “This Is Not the Way”
June 11, 2025: LOS ANGELES — Kim Kardashian has taken a firm stand against the recent ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) raids sweeping through Los Angeles, calling them “inhumane” and fueling a wave of celebrity-led outrage and mass protests.
The reality star and business mogul voiced her concerns on Instagram, stating:
“When we’re told that ICE exists to keep our country safe and remove violent criminals — great. But when we witness innocent, hardworking people being ripped from their families in inhumane ways, we have to speak up. We have to do what’s right.”
She further emphasized the importance of immigrant communities to the city’s identity, writing,
“Growing up in LA, I’ve seen how deeply immigrants are woven into the fabric of this city. They are our neighbors, friends, classmates, co-workers, and family… There HAS to be a BETTER way.”
In response to mounting protests across the city, President Donald Trump escalated tensions by deploying the National Guard and US Marines to maintain “law and order,” a move that has drawn bipartisan criticism and public backlash.

The unrest follows a viral clip shared by Kardashian of singer Doechii’s impassioned BET Awards speech, in which she declared:
“Trump is using military forces to stop a protest… We all deserve to live in hope and not in fear.”
Kardashian’s remarks have been echoed by a growing number of celebrities:
With protests gaining momentum and more public figures speaking out, the clash between federal enforcement and civic resistance shows no signs of slowing down.
