Kim Kardashian Set to Testify in $10M Paris Robbery Trial Over Stolen Jewels and Kanye West’s Gifted Ring

The 2016 Paris heist that shocked the world heads to court as Kim Kardashian prepares to recount her harrowing ordeal under oath.

April 15, 2025 | Kim Kardashian is expected to testify in a Paris courtroom later this month, nearly nine years after she was bound, gagged, and robbed at gunpoint inside her luxury residence during Paris Fashion Week 2016. The trial over the infamous $10 million jewel heist will begin on April 28, with six individuals facing charges, according to her lawyer, Michael Rhodes.

Among the stolen items was a $4 million diamond ring gifted by her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West. The robbery remains one of the most high-profile celebrity crime cases in recent history.

In a 2017 episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kim emotionally recounted the terrifying moment:

“I heard a noise at the door, like footsteps… I saw two people arrive, plus the night man who was tied up.”

One of the assailants, wearing ski goggles, demanded her diamond ring at gunpoint.

“He had a strong French accent. I told him I didn’t know where it was, but when he pulled out the gun, I showed him the ring,” she said.

Kim was tied up with plastic cables, had tape placed over her mouth and legs, and was left on the floor of her bathroom while the masked men looted her apartment.


👠 The Missing Jewels

The robbers made away with several luxury items, including:

  • Two diamond Cartier bracelets
  • A gold and diamond Jacob necklace
  • Lorraine Schwartz diamond earrings
  • A gold Rolex
  • And the now-infamous $4 million ring from Kanye West

In total, the stolen collection was valued at $10 million.


👩‍⚖️ Kim’s Day in Court

People magazine previously reported that 12 people may stand trial in connection with the case, with Kim expected to testify in May. However, the April 28 court date confirms the formal start of the trial.

Kim has not publicly commented recently on the upcoming testimony but is expected to provide a detailed account to the jury.
