In a now-viral TikTok clip, the Skims mogul was seen snapping at her security guard after he accidentally stepped on the train of her custom Chrome Hearts outfit outside the Ritz-Carlton hotel in New York City.

Accompanied by her daughter, North West, 11, Kim was heading out to the Met Gala when the incident occurred. As fans and paparazzi swarmed the hotel entrance, one of her bodyguards tripped over the trailing portion of her daring corseted ensemble, halting Kim in her tracks.

Moments later, Kim climbed into her waiting vehicle and headed to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the evening’s theme — “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” — celebrated the impact of Black dandyism on fashion history.

At the event, Kim’s look included a leather hat, long wavy hair, and a corseted Chrome Hearts outfit that accentuated her figure. She accessorized with a dramatic stack of diamond necklaces, matching earrings, and pearls cascading from her hip.
