The reality star will appear in court during the April-May proceedings over the 2016 robbery where she was held at gunpoint and millions in jewelry were stolen

Paris, April 17: Kim Kardashian is set to testify in person at the upcoming criminal trial in Paris regarding the infamous 2016 armed robbery during which she was bound, gagged, and locked in a bathroom while thieves stole over $10 million worth of jewelry.

Her attorney Michael Rhodes confirmed Tuesday that the reality star will appear in court between April 28 and May 23, when ten suspects are scheduled to stand trial on charges ranging from armed robbery to kidnapping.

“Ms. Kardashian will be testifying in person at the upcoming French criminal trial involving the 2016 incident in which she was bound and robbed at gunpoint by a number of masked assailants,” Rhodes said in a statement.

The robbery occurred in a luxury apartment during Paris Fashion Week, where Kardashian was staying at the time. The assailants, disguised as police officers, allegedly broke in and committed the largest jewelry heist targeting an individual in recent French history.

Kardashian, now a legal advocate and business mogul, reportedly has “tremendous appreciation and admiration for the French judicial system” and hopes the trial proceeds with “order and respect for all parties.”

The high-profile case has drawn global attention over the years, not just for its brazenness, but also for the lasting psychological impact it reportedly had on Kardashian, who later revealed she suffered from panic attacks and trauma after the incident.

The trial is expected to revisit the night that stunned the fashion and entertainment worlds — now with Kardashian herself taking the stand.
