‘King’ Faces Delay: SRK-Suhana's Film Impacted by India-Pakistan Tensions
May 12, 2025: Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan’s highly anticipated film King may face a delay in shooting due to the ongoing India-Pakistan tensions. The political situation has reportedly led to uncertainty in the film industry, impacting production schedules and release strategies.
King, directed by Sujoy Ghosh and backed by Red Chillies Entertainment, was scheduled to go on floors on May 16, 2025. However, a report suggests that the team is re-evaluating the timeline due to the sensitive nature of the current geopolitical climate. “Despite the ceasefire, things remain sensitive… a slight delay won’t be surprising,” the report stated.
