As Kristin Cavallari gears up for her docuseries Honestly Cavallari, the reality star reacts to fan requests to join The Traitors and reflects on the evolution of reality television.

Los Angeles, May 8:
Kristin Cavallari is making headlines again — and fans are already dreaming up her next reality TV move.

Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on May 6, the 38-year-old star opened up about her upcoming return to television in Honestly Cavallari: The Headline Tour, a new E! docuseries. But it seems viewers already have another idea in mind for her.

“I’ve had a million people say that I should be on The Traitors,” Cavallari revealed, laughing. “I haven’t seen it!”

Host Jimmy Fallon, visibly shocked, encouraged her to check out the hit show, to which Cavallari replied, “I know, I know, I’m going to watch it. But why is everyone telling me I’d be good on it? Because I’m conniving? I’m kind of offended, I think.”

Fallon reassured her, saying the suggestion comes from fans loving her on their screens. Cavallari admitted she’s heard glowing reviews about the show but remained noncommittal about joining another reality competition.

Cavallari then reflected on her early days in reality TV, beginning with MTV’s Laguna Beach (2004–2006).

“When we did Laguna Beach, there was no map. Now, there are a million reality shows and stars. People go in with an agenda now,” she said. “I always say, ‘Just be yourself. The audience can see through the rest.’”

Since her time on Laguna Beach and The Hills, Cavallari briefly returned to reality TV in Very Cavallari (2018–2020), which she starred in with her then-husband Jay Cutler before they split. In recent years, she’s focused on her lifestyle brand Uncommon James, her podcast Let’s Be Honest, and her family.

With her new docuseries Honestly Cavallari, premiering June 4 on E!, the star insists the format is a shift from the typical reality drama.

“I know I’ve said I wouldn’t go back to reality TV like 5,000 times,” she admitted. “But this is different. It’s not about dating or manufacturing drama. It’s a true docuseries — just following this journey.”

Whether Cavallari ends up scheming in a castle on The Traitors or not, her fans clearly aren’t done watching her on-screen adventures.
