Kriti Sanon Joins Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s ‘Tere Ishk Mein’

Intriguing promo teases Kriti Sanon as Mukti, setting the stage for an intense love story from the world of Raanjhanaa.

Mumbai, January 28: Actor Kriti Sanon is set to star alongside Dhanush in Aanand L Rai’s highly anticipated romantic drama Tere Ishk Mein. The film is a spiritual successor to Raanjhanaa and promises to explore themes of unrequited love, emotional turmoil, and resilience.

On Tuesday, the makers unveiled an intriguing promo introducing Kriti’s character, Mukti.

The video depicts a tense and dark moment as Mukti douses herself in kerosene, preparing to set herself ablaze. Later, she is shown lighting a cigarette while sitting in a corner, adding a layer of mystery to her character.

Dhanush shared the promo on Instagram with the caption:
“Some love stories are destined to rise from the flames. Witness SHANKAR and MUKTI in #TereIshkMein. From the #WorldOfRaanjhanaa – a story that’s unforgettable. In cinemas 28.11.2025.”

The film, slated for release on November 28, 2025, will reunite the iconic Raanjhanaa team, including director Aanand L Rai and writer Himanshu Sharma.

An Emotional Journey with A.R. Rahman’s Music

Tere Ishk Mein will be presented by Gulshan Kumar, T-Series, and Colour Yellow. The film is produced by Aanand L Rai, Himanshu Sharma, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar, with music composed by A.R. Rahman and lyrics penned by Irshad Kamil.

Kriti Sanon on Exploring New Roles

In November 2024, Kriti attended the International Film Festival of India (IFFI), where she expressed her excitement about taking on diverse roles.

“There are so many roles I haven’t done yet. I’d love to play a superwoman—India hasn’t seen enough of that. I also want to do action and explore a completely negative character,” she shared during an interactive session.

With Tere Ishk Mein, Kriti’s fans are set to witness a new dimension of her acting prowess, as she takes on a complex role in a film that promises to be an unforgettable cinematic experience.
