Kuberaa Box Office Collection Day 5: Dhanush’s Crime Drama Races Past ₹60 Crore With No Signs of Slowing Down
Hyderabad | June 25, 2025:
Dhanush-starrer Kuberaa is showing no signs of slowing down as it crosses the ₹60 crore milestone within just five days of its release. The film, which hit theatres on June 20, has managed to maintain momentum even during the weekdays — a sign of its solid word-of-mouth and audience pull.
On Tuesday (Day 5), Kuberaa collected ₹5.50 crore, bringing its total domestic collection to ₹60.90 crore, according to Sacnilk. The film registered an overall Telugu occupancy of 28.37%, with the highest turnout recorded during night shows at 35.84%.
The film recently held a grand success meet, with none other than Chiranjeevi as the chief guest. The megastar had high praise for Dhanush, stating:
“Nobody else could have done the role of Deva like Dhanush. He disappeared into the character. I couldn’t recognise him. It felt like watching real life unfold on screen.”
Chiranjeevi didn’t stop there. Predicting national-level recognition, he added:
“The Best Actor National Award should go to you. If it doesn’t, there’s no meaning in awards anymore.”
Directed by Sekhar Kammula and co-written by Chaithanya Pingali, Kuberaa is produced by Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP and Amigos Creations. The ensemble cast includes Nagarjuna, Rashmika Mandanna, Jim Sarbh, and Dalip Tahil.
The film follows the journey of Deva (Dhanush), a street beggar whose life transforms after meeting ex-CBI officer Deepak Tej (Nagarjuna). Along the way, he crosses paths with Sameera (Rashmika) and battles the corrupt corporate villain Neeraj Mitra (Jim Sarbh).
With strong occupancy during evening and night shows, consistent weekday collections, and overwhelming support from critics and superstars alike, Kuberaa is expected to enter the ₹75 crore club by the weekend. If the trend continues, a ₹100 crore lifetime is well within reach.
