"Kull": Royal Secrets and Dark Power Games Unfold in JioHotstar’s New Drama Starring Nimrat Kaur & Amol Parashar
Mumbai, April 25:
Step into a world of royal intrigue, betrayal, and silent storms with Kull, the upcoming JioHotstar original series set to premiere on May 2, 2025. Produced by Ekta Kapoor and directed by Sahir Raza, Kull explores the twisted power dynamics within a royal Bikaneri family, where blood ties are fragile and power is everything.
The recently released trailer reveals a captivating narrative headlined by Nimrat Kaur, Amol Parashar, and Ridhi Dogra. Amol Parashar takes on the role of Abhimanyu Raisingh, a young prince thrust into a power struggle after the mysterious murder of his father. Meanwhile, Nimrat Kaur plays Indrani, a character she describes as “a storm behind still waters”—loyal, fierce, and devastatingly calm.
“Kull gave me the rare chance to embody a woman whose strength speaks in silences and whose loyalty burns fiercely,” Nimrat said in a statement. “It’s unapologetically bold and cinematic storytelling at its finest.”
Amol Parashar also shared his surprise at landing the lead role in this genre-defying series produced by Kapoor.
“I was shocked—in the best way—when I learned Ekta Kapoor was producing it. It’s bold, fresh, and unlike anything I’ve done. Watching Nimrat bring Indrani to life was a privilege,” he added.
With political twists, hidden truths, and psychological warfare cloaked in regal tradition, Kull promises to be a binge-worthy rollercoaster.
The series will exclusively stream on JioHotstar starting May 2, 2025.
