Kylie Jenner Turns Heads in Form-Fitting Ferragamo Gown at Met Gala 2025

May 6, 2025: Beauty mogul and fashion icon Kylie Jenner turned heads once again at the 2025 Met Gala, delivering a striking look that effortlessly blended power dressing with sensual elegance.

The 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder arrived at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in a custom-designed Ferragamo gown, aligning with this year’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” and its corresponding dress code, “Tailored for You.”

Jenner’s gown featured a bold sweetheart neckline crafted from suit-like fabric, complemented by a black corseted bodice that emphasized structure and silhouette. The ensemble transitioned into a tailored skirt with contrasting black-and-white stitching and a dramatic high slit on the left thigh.

Accessorizing with sheer black gloves, silver jewelry—including studs and edgy ear cuffs—closed-toe black heels, and a flowing black silk scarf, Jenner completed the look with her hair pulled back into a sleek bun. The scarf, which initially trailed behind her, was later removed for a simplified but equally elegant finish.

A New Era of Confidence

In a 2024 interview with Elle, Jenner described her evolving style as “dark feminine”, explaining that after having children and navigating dramatic body changes, she has finally reclaimed her identity and confidence.

“At 27, I feel more confident and more like myself than ever,” she said.

About the 2025 Met Gala

This year’s Met Gala celebrates the Costume Institute’s spring exhibition, titled “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style”. The exhibit, inspired by Monica L. Miller’s 2009 book Slaves to Fashion, explores Black dandyism and the history of Black menswear-inspired style from the 18th century to the present.

The event is co-chaired by A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Lewis Hamilton, Colman Domingo, and Anna Wintour, with LeBron James serving as honorary chair. Other prominent names on the host committee include Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, Regina King, Doechii, Usher, Spike Lee, and Angel Reese.
