“Labour of Love”: Janhvi Kapoor on the Music Album of ‘Ulajh’

Actor Janhvi Kapoor is eagerly anticipating her fans’ reaction to the musical magic in her upcoming thriller, ‘Ulajh’. Following a positive response to the trailer and the first song ‘Shaukan,’ the makers have released the full music album along with a new track, ‘Aaja Oye’.

The music album for ‘Ulajh’ features six captivating songs, all produced and composed by the talented Shashwat Sachdev. The audience has already embraced ‘Shaukan,’ performed by Jubin Nautiyal, Neha Kakkar, and Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Kumaar. The newly released ‘Aaja Oye,’ a song symbolizing redemption and victory, showcases the powerful vocals of Jasmine Sandlas and Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics penned by Jasmine Sandlas and Sudhanshu Saria.

Other notable tracks in the album include ‘Main Hoon Tera Ae Watan,’ a patriotic anthem composed and sung by Shashwat Sachdev, with lyrics by Kumaar. ‘Ilahi Mere Rubaroo,’ a modern qawwali, features the voices of Shahzad Ali, Sanjith Hegde, and Shashwat Sachdev, with Kumaar’s lyrical contributions. ‘Jao Ji Jao,’ a soulful song sung by Shanya Kashyap, Garvit Soni, and Priyansh Srivastava, adds another layer of depth to the album, with lyrics by Sudhanshu Saria.

The makers recently unveiled the trailer for ‘Ulajh,’ which introduces Janhvi Kapoor as Suhana, the youngest Deputy High Commissioner, who undertakes a challenging mission at the London embassy under close scrutiny. Her performance addresses stereotypes and nepotism head-on.

Joining the cast is Gulshan Devaiah as a mysterious undercover agent, adding suspense to the narrative. The trailer hints at a labyrinth of secrets and betrayals, suggesting an internal leak that endangers undercover agents and plunges Suhana into a desperate struggle for survival.

Scripted by Sudhanshu Saria and Parveez Shaikh with dialogue by Atika Chauhan, ‘Ulajh’ is presented by Junglee Pictures and is slated for release on August 2. The film promises a thrilling experience, enhanced by its rich and diverse musical album.
