Los Angeles, February 1 – Music superstars Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars are set to deliver a special tribute performance at the upcoming Grammy Awards to honor those affected by the recent wildfires in Los Angeles.

On Friday, the Recording Academy announced that the two Grammy-winning artists would dedicate their performance of “Die With a Smile” to the city of Los Angeles, as reported by Variety.

The emotional tribute comes as their hit collaboration, released in August 2024, has earned two Grammy nominations—Song of the Year and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance. The ballad quickly became a chart-topping success, dominating the Billboard Hot 100 and breaking streaming records.

Ahead of the Grammys, Lady Gaga made a surprise appearance at FireAid, a wildfire relief fundraiser held in Los Angeles. She delivered an emotional three-song set, featuring her iconic tracks “Shallow” and “Always Remember Us This Way”, along with a brand-new song titled “All I Need Is Time.”

Gaga revealed that she wrote the song specifically for the event, alongside her fiancé, Michael Polansky. Addressing the audience, she shared her heartfelt sentiments:

“When I was thinking about what to sing tonight, I wanted to offer something hopeful. None of my existing songs seemed quite right, so my friend, my fiancé, my love—Michael—and I wrote this song just for you.”

“I think we all need a lot of things right now, but one thing we may need most is time. Time is a healer,” Gaga added.
