Lauren Sánchez Celebrates Star-Studded Bachelorette Party in Paris Ahead of Italian Wedding to Jeff Bezos

The 55-year-old Emmy-winning journalist and pilot celebrated her upcoming wedding to Amazon founder Jeff Bezos with a lavish all-girls getaway in Paris, surrounded by a star-studded circle of friends including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Katy Perry, and Eva Longoria.

On Friday, May 16, Sánchez and her 12 guests were spotted smiling and posing on the rooftop of a luxury river cruise boat as they glided along the Seine. Before setting sail, the bride-to-be gave her Instagram followers a sneak peek of the group’s chic lunch menu from the upscale restaurant L’Avenue.

A source told PEOPLE the bachelorette festivities began a day earlier at Lafayette’s in Paris, where the group kicked things off with espresso martinis and impromptu dancing to Earth, Wind & Fire at Sánchez’s request. The evening concluded with a surprise vanilla meringue cake.

Marking the celebration, Sánchez posted a heartfelt Instagram tribute on May 17 with photos of her and her closest friends. “Forever starts with friendship, surrounded by the women who’ve lifted me up, illuminated my path in dark times, and shaped my heart along the way. 🤍,” she wrote.

The festivities come just weeks before Sánchez and Bezos say “I do” aboard their $500 million superyacht Koru off the coast of Venice, Italy. Invitations have already been sent out for the June ceremony, which is expected to attract some of the world’s biggest names.

The couple, who made their relationship public in 2019, got engaged in May 2023 during a romantic getaway in the South of France. Sánchez was later spotted wearing her engagement ring aboard the luxury yacht with Bezos.

Beyond her upcoming nuptials, Sánchez has had a whirlwind year. In April, she led an all-female space expedition featuring Katy Perry and Gayle King, and in September 2024, she published her first children’s book, The Fly Who Flew to Space.

Speaking to PEOPLE about the project, she shared how meaningful the book was to her and her three children — son Nikko (with ex Tony Gonzalez), and Evan and Ella (with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell). Bezos, meanwhile, shares four children with his ex-wife, philanthropist MacKenzie Scott.

With her closest friends, international glamour, and a yacht wedding on the horizon, Lauren Sánchez is clearly living her best — and most luxurious — chapter yet.
