"Let Everyone Do Their Job": Mouni Roy Breaks Silence on Trolls Targeting Her Looks
April 15, 2025: New Delhi – Mouni Roy has long been a favorite target of online trolls, often critiqued for her evolving looks and bold fashion choices. But the Naagin star isn’t letting the noise get to her. Reacting to recent speculation about cosmetic surgery, Mouni dismissed the negativity with class.
“Let everyone do their job… I do not pay attention to such remarks,” she said. “If you hide behind a screen to troll others and if you find happiness in that, so be it.”
The latest wave of online chatter started after Mouni posted a reel on Instagram wearing a strapless black gown and dancing to Hit The Bucket. Fans flooded the comments, claiming her face looked different, with some pointing to lip enhancements and others hinting at Botox.
Despite the criticism, Mouni remains focused on her career.
Mouni is now gearing up for The Bhootnii, a horror-action-comedy where she plays a ghost named ‘Mohabbat’. The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sunny Singh, Palak Tiwari, Beyounick, and Aasif Khan.
The Bhootnii is slated to release on April 18, 2025.
