Linkin Park to Make First-Ever India Debut at Lollapalooza, Deets Inside!

After years of waiting, rock legends Linkin Park have confirmed their first-ever show in India, headlining Lollapalooza India 2026. The announcement sent fans into a frenzy, with tickets selling out in under 30 minutes.

August 28, 2025: The famous American rock band Linkin Park has finally confirmed their first gig in India, which rock fans have been waiting for a long time. The ensemble will be the headlining act at Lollapalooza India on January 25, 2026. The show will take place at the Mahalaxmi Racecourse in Mumbai.

The event will be a significant deal for the band and their many Indian fans, who have been waiting years to see them play live. The concert is part of the band’s ongoing From Zero World Tour, which began when their comeback album, From Zero, came out in 2024.

After being gone for seven years, the band’s new record was a great return. It also provided fans a new lineup, with Emily Armstrong as co-lead singer, Colin Brittain on drums, and Alex Federer on guitar. They are joining Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Rob Bourdon, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell, and Joe Hahn, who started the group. They both contribute energy from the past and the present.

Mike Shinoda added, “We’ve wanted to play in India for a long time,” showing how excited he was about the tour’s long-awaited stop. Our fans there are definitely looking forward to seeing us live, and we can’t wait to give them the show.

Before the official announcement, there had been a lot of chatter about it for weeks. The first speculations started when a notice about a Bank of Baroda RuPay presale got out. Later, Lollapalooza India’s social media pages added to the suspicions by posting strange captions like “From zero to hundred,” which was an obvious reference to the band’s new album and lyrics.

More than 40 musicians will play on four stages during Lollapalooza India 2026, which will be held on January 24 and 25. The day after the announcement, Thursday, tickets for the event went on sale to the public. There were so many individuals who wanted them that they sold out in less than 30 minutes. The second phase of sales will start up again on Friday morning. More fans will be able to go to the fourth edition of the event, which has already hosted big acts from across the world like Imagine Dragons, Sting, and the Jonas Brothers.
