20 years of ‘LOC Kargil’: Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan celebrates the day

On Tuesday, the war drama “LOC Kargil,” directed by JP Dutta, turned 20 years old. Actor Ajay Devgn celebrated the milestone by posting a series of nostalgic photos to Instagram with the message, “20YearsOFLOC.”Thank you, Kargil, for the wounds that remind me of the fights I’ve fought. I’m also appreciative of the experience, the memories, and the friends I’ve made along the way.”

In addition to him, actor Abhishek Bachchan also rolled back the years and shared old photos from the film’s production. The post’s caption read, “Time flies! I can’t believe L.O.C. has been out for 20 years. Making the movie with so many friends brought back wonderful memories. However, it is an even greater honor to be able to share the tales of our real heroes who serve in the Indian military. I am grateful to JP Sahab for selecting me and providing me with the chance to feature in the movie.”

LOC: Produced and directed by JP Dutta under his JP Films banner, Kargil is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language historical war film that is based on the Kargil War fought between India and Pakistan.
In addition to Ajay and Abhishek, other actors who starred in the movie were Suniel Shetty, Sanjay Dutt, Saif Ali Khan, Rani Mukerji, Manoj Bajpayee, Akshaye Khanna, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Nagarjuna.
