
Loveyapa Box Office Day 3: Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s Film Earns ₹4.25 Crore in First Weekend
February 10, 2025: Advait Chandan’s Loveyapa, starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, hit theaters this Friday but has seen modest box office numbers so far. A remake of Pradeep Ranganathan’s Tamil hit Love Today, the film has garnered ₹4.25 crore net in India during its first weekend, as per Sacnilk reports.
The romantic comedy started slow with ₹1.15 crore on Friday but picked up on Saturday with a 43.48% spike, earning ₹1.65 crore. Sunday saw mixed occupancy rates — 6.26% in the morning, 16.63% in the afternoon, and 23.55% in the evening — bringing the weekend total to ₹4.25 crore in India. Worldwide, the film has earned ₹3.30 crore so far. It remains to be seen if Loveyapa can sustain or improve its performance in the coming days.

Cricketer Suresh Raina recently attended a screening of the film alongside Aamir Khan and posted on Instagram, “Always a pleasure meeting the one and only Aamir Bhai! His warmth and humility are truly inspiring. Wishing Junaid all the best for his new movie Loveyapa — he’s going to shine! God bless.” Other attendees included cricketer Manvinder Bisla and actor-RJ Kisnaa.
Aamir Khan hosted a special screening of the movie for Bollywood’s elite, with stars like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Juhi Chawla, and Ayushmann Khurrana in attendance.
Loveyapa revolves around a couple forced to swap phones for a day, leading to comedic chaos and unexpected revelations. The movie marks the theatrical debut of both Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, following their OTT debuts in Maharaja and The Archies, respectively.
