June 27, 2025: After a successful theatrical run, Tamil film Maaman, starring Soori, is now gearing up for its OTT release. According to reports, the emotional family drama is set to premiere on ZEE5 on July 5, 2025. While an official confirmation is awaited, the film will also be available on OTTplay Premium.
About the Film
Directed by Prasanth Pandiyaraj (Vilangu fame), Maaman explores the deep emotional bond between a man and his nephew. This close attachment causes strain after the man gets married, highlighting themes of privacy, family boundaries, and emotional overreach.
