Maharagni: Kajol and Prabhudeva Reunite for an Action-Packed Thriller

The first glimpse and title of the Kajol and Prabhudeva starrer action thriller have been unveiled, promising an intense and gripping drama.

After 27 years, Kajol and Prabhudeva reunite for Telugu director Charan Tej Uppalapati’s action thriller titled ‘Maharagni – Queen of Queens’. The first schedule of ‘Maharagni’ has recently been completed, and the makers have now released the official teaser.

Ajay Devgn shared the teaser of his wife’s upcoming movie ‘Maharagni’ on Instagram. The video begins with Prabhudeva stepping out of a charter plane and immediately taking down a group of goons. The action shifts to Samyuktha Menon, who, amidst a high-stakes chase, reveals her quest for revenge. Naseeruddin Shah is shown lying in a hospital bed, sharing his heartfelt last wish. Kajol emerges in her ‘Maharagni’ avatar, exuding power and strength in a never-seen-before role.

Ajay Devgn captioned the video, “Aali re aali, #Maharagni aali! kajol.” Fans quickly filled the comment section, with one user calling Kajol “Singham ki lady Singham.”

Directed and written by Charan Tej Uppalapati and produced by Harman Baweja and Venkata Anish Dorigillu under Baweja Studios and E7 Entertainments, ‘Maharagni – Queen of Queens’ is a pan-India film set to release in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. Besides Kajol and Prabhudeva, the cast includes Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, Jisshu Sengupta, and Aditya Seal.

Kajol and Prabhudeva previously worked together in Rajiv Menon’s 1997 Tamil film ‘Minsara Kanavu,’ which was released in Hindi as ‘Sapnay.’
