Mahhi Vij Hospitalised, Shares Health Update from Hospital

October 14, 2024: TV actress Mahhi Vij, known for her roles in Balika Vadhu and Laagi Tujhse Lagan, has been hospitalised in Mumbai after being diagnosed with chikungunya. The actress had been unwell for a few days, experiencing severe joint pain and high fever before seeking medical help.

Health Update:

Mahhi recently took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her hospital stay. She posted a photo from her hospital bed, with her back facing the camera, looking out of the window. Although she didn’t write a caption, the post reflected her ongoing battle with the illness.

Earlier, Mahhi had shared a heartfelt video of her taking care of her ailing father, expressing her love and dedication to him. She wrote, “These 10 days have been the toughest. My father, my pillar, has always done everything to make me comfortable, and now when he needs me, I want to do everything to help him heal. I’m proud to be there for him, and I know he will recover soon.”

Mahhi gained fame for her portrayal of Nakusha in Laagi Tujhse Lagan and Nandini in Balika Vadhu. She married fellow actor Jay Bhanushali in 2011. The couple fostered two children, Rajveer and Khushi, in 2017, and welcomed their biological daughter, Tara, in 2019.

Mahhi and Jay won the reality dance show Nach Baliye 5 in 2013. She has also participated in popular shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 4 and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 7. Mahhi has also appeared in several music videos.
