June 13, 2025: On June 5, 2025, Marcus Mumford left fans in Bend, Oregon, stunned when he abruptly stopped mid-song during Mumford & Sons’ performance at the Hayden Homes Amphitheater and walked off stage.

A TikTok video captured the moment, showing Mumford pausing, saying what sounds like, “Sorry, (expletive) them,” before turning and leaving.
Eyewitnesses reported that Mumford had attempted to perform the song three times but was compelled to stop each time due to injuries sustained by fans in the audience. Medical personnel were called to the scene, and the song was ultimately left unfinished.
As of now, Marcus Mumford has not publicly addressed the incident. The band’s official website and social media channels have not released any statements regarding the event. The remainder of the 2025 North American tour is scheduled to continue as planned, with upcoming performances in Berkeley, California, on June 9, and Hollywood, California, on June 12.
