Pop Icon’s 16th Studio Album Set for September 26 Debut Under New Gamma Deal

Mariah Carey, a global pop star, has officially announced the release date for her highly awaited 16th studio album, “Here For It All.” Fans should put September 26 on their calendars. That’s when the song will come out through Larry Jackson’s indie music business, Gamma.

Carey herself delivered the happy news on her Instagram account on Monday morning (July 21, 2025), treating her devoted following, known as the Lambily, to a small voice fragment that looks to be from the album’s title track. This new album will be Carey’s first full-length album since 2018’s Caution, which was published by Sony’s Epic Records and debuted at number five on Billboard’s 200 Albums chart.

Carey said in June that she had signed a multi-album deal with Gamma, and now this news comes out. This new relationship is a big move for the musician because it gives her more creative flexibility and control over her music. Carey already released the album’s lead track, “Type Dangerous,” under this new label. It debuted at Number 95 on the Billboard Hot 100. This was her first single to make the list since 2017 that wasn’t a holiday song. She also debuted the song during the BET Awards.

Carey told Forbes about her breakthrough work with Gamma and her plans for the next album: “It’s a cultural shift, and I’m excited to be part of something that honors legacy while pushing boundaries.” This next chapter is all about taking charge of my story and making things on my own terms.

The well-known singer Anderson .Paak co-wrote “Type Dangerous,” and Joseph Kahn filmed a music video for it that was very visually appealing. Mr. Beast, a well-known YouTuber, made a notable appearance in the video.
