Mastiii 4 OTT Release: When And Where To Stream Film Online?

The Adult Comedy Trio Returns to Small Screens Following a Lackluster Theatrical Run; Milap Zaveri Directorial to Stream This Friday

January 12, 2026: After struggling to ignite the box office during its theatrical release in late 2025, the adult comedy Mastiii 4 is ready for its digital innings. The film, which reunites the franchise’s iconic “Masti boys,” is scheduled to begin streaming on Zee5 starting Friday, January 16, 2026.

Directed by Milap Milan Zaveri, the fourth installment sought to revive the sex-comedy genre but met with a cold reception from both critics and audiences alike.

The Digital Shift: OTT Details

  • Platform: Zee5
  • Release Date: January 16, 2026
  • Original Theatrical Release: November 21, 2025
  • Content Note: The film carries an ‘A’ (Adult) certificate. The OTT version is expected to feature some of the “bold” content and language that faced minor cuts during the CBFC theatrical certification process.

Box Office Recap: A Tough Run

Despite the nostalgia factor, Mastiii 4 failed to replicate the massive commercial success of Grand Masti (2013).

  • Performance: The film earned approximately ₹15.14 crore at the Indian box office, falling significantly short of its estimated ₹40–50 crore budget.
  • The Competition: The film’s theatrical window was squeezed by a direct clash with Farhan Akhtar’s war drama 120 Bahadur and the ongoing momentum of the spy-actioner Dhurandhar.
  • Critical Verdict: Reviewers panned the film for its “dated humor” and “lackluster plot,” though many noted that the chemistry between the lead trio remained the film’s only saving grace.

Cast and Characters

The film boasts a massive ensemble cast, bringing back familiar faces alongside several new additions to the franchise:

  • The Trio: Riteish Deshmukh (Amar), Vivek Oberoi (Meet), and Aftab Shivdasani (Prem).
  • New Additions: Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor, and a special appearance by the legendary Jeetendra.
  • Leading Ladies: Nargis Fakhri, Ruhii Singh, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Shreya Sharma.

The Plot: Same Formula, New Setting

True to the Masti DNA, the story follows three frustrated husbands—Amar, Meet, and Prem—who feel ignored in their domestic lives. In an attempt to reclaim their youth and “freedom,” they embark on a wild, secret trip to the United Kingdom. However, their plans for a carefree escape quickly spiral into a chaotic showdown involving misunderstandings, high-stakes secrets, and a “shadowy past” that threatens to catch up with them.
