Megan Thee Stallion Hints At Collaboration With Doechii For Upcoming Album Megan: ‘Act III’

March 23, 2025: Rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion is excited about collaborating with rising hip-hop star Doechii for her upcoming album, Megan: Act III. During a recent TikTok livestream, Megan shared updates with her fans about her new music, revealing that she’s being very selective about who she features on the album.

Megan explained that she only wants to collaborate with artists she genuinely listens to and has not yet worked with. “I’m really just trying to figure out who do I want to do features with at this point in life. I only want to do features with people that… one, I haven’t done a feature with yet, and two, that I listen to on my own time — people that I actually, you know, … with,” she said.

As fans suggested different artists, Megan’s response was quick and enthusiastic when Doechii’s name came up in the chat. “I see Doechii, bi–, I love Doechii,” she said. “I do want to do a song with Doechii. That’s on my list. That’s on my album wish list.” Megan also mentioned that while she’s working on new music, she doesn’t yet have a song that would make sense for Doechii to be featured on, emphasizing the importance of being in the studio together to create the right energy for a collaboration.

“I feel like Doechii would be the type of person that you would have to be in the studio to make a song with,” Megan explained. “I would like to hear a beat that she would like to rap over, and also I’m like challenging myself to rap over beats that I wouldn’t normally rap over without losing myself.”

Doechii has been gaining immense popularity, recently winning Best Rap Album at the Grammys, making her the third woman to claim the award. She was also named Billboard’s Woman of the Year for 2025 and will be honored at the Women in Music ceremony in Los Angeles on March 29.
