Meghan Markle and Princess Lilibet Suit Up for Adorable Beekeeping Moment — with a Sweet Nod to Prince Archie

May 26, 2025: Meghan Markle is giving fans a peek into her buzzing life — and her daughter Princess Lilibet is right by her side.

On Sunday, May 25, the Duchess of Sussex shared a heartwarming video on her Instagram Stories, featuring a special mother-daughter moment. In the clip, Meghan, 43, and 3-year-old Lilibet are seen strolling hand-in-hand toward a beehive, both dressed in matching miniature beekeeper suits. Adding a splash of whimsy to the scene, Lilibet wore bright rainbow-colored boots.

The video is playfully set to the song “Sugar, Sugar” by The Archies — a likely nod to Lilibet’s older brother, 6-year-old Prince Archie.

Meghan first revealed her passion for beekeeping in her Netflix docuseries With Love, Meghan. In the opening episode, she is shown confidently working with a hive, sharing how the experience is both thrilling and grounding. “It’s like that little reminder to do something that scares you a little bit,” she says, while reflecting on the joy of staying present in nature.

Her love for honey has also translated into business. Through her lifestyle brand As Ever, Meghan released a limited-edition Wildflower Honey with Honeycomb, which sold out instantly — so quickly, in fact, that the company oversold. Meghan personally reached out to disappointed customers in an email:

“Dear friend, My goodness, what a whirlwind this week has been! Thank you so much for the support,” she wrote. “When our next limited-edition drop happens, you won’t just be the first to know… you’ll be the first to receive it — as a gift from me.”

Meghan isn’t the only royal with a love of beekeeping. Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, keeps bees at Anmer Hall in Norfolk and even shared a photo tending to her hive in honor of World Bee Day 2023. Queen Camilla also produces honey from hives at her country retreat, Ray Mill House, which she sells for charity through Fortnum & Mason.

From family bonding to nature’s sweetest gift, Meghan and Lilibet are showing that sometimes the best royal moments are the quiet, honey-filled ones.
