Meghan Markle’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan has stirred unexpected legal trouble after a viewer from Maryland alleged that a bath salt recipe featured in the show caused her severe injuries. The viewer, Robin Patrick, is threatening to sue the Duchess of Sussex for $10 million, citing “reckless disregard for public safety.”

According to a report by Radar Online, Patrick claims she suffered “catastrophic burns” on her legs after following Meghan’s homemade bath salt instructions. The product, she alleges, was unsafe for people with diabetes and lacked adequate medical warnings regarding ingredients like arnica oil and essential oils.

Patrick is demanding at least $75,000 for medical expenses and up to $10 million in damages. She further argued that Meghan demonstrated awareness of health risks in other segments—such as labeling nuts in a snack bag—proving the production team knew when warnings were appropriate.

“This shows she understands the need for disclaimers,” Patrick told Radar. “So not including any caution for the bath salts amounts to negligence.”

Meghan’s legal team has firmly denied liability. “There can be no negligence claim against anyone involved in the production or distribution of the series,” Meghan’s attorney Cameron Stracher stated.
