Meghan Markle Opens Up About Cherished Moments With Daughter Princess Lilibet

In the premiere episode of her new podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, the Duchess of Sussex joined Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd to talk about leadership, identity, and what it means to be a working mother.

Sharing a sweet anecdote, Meghan revealed just how much she cherishes time with her youngest child. “She’ll be sitting there on my lap during one of these meetings with a grid of all the executives… I wouldn’t have it any other way,” she said with pride.

“I don’t want to miss those moments. I don’t want to miss pickup if I don’t have to. I don’t want to miss drop-off,” Meghan added, highlighting her desire to be a present and hands-on mom despite her busy schedule.

Meghan and Prince Harry, who stepped down as senior members of the Royal Family in 2020, now reside in California with their two children — Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. The couple has often spoken about prioritizing family, especially after facing intense scrutiny and racism in the UK.
