Meghan Markle is pulling back the curtain on her latest passion project — and her growing brand as an entrepreneur.

On Friday, May 23, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, took to Instagram Stories to share a candid moment from behind the scenes of her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder. Filmed outdoors with birds chirping in the background, Meghan described her newest episode, featuring longtime friend and beauty entrepreneur Cassandra Morales Thurswell, as “such a good one.”

“I hope you get a chance to watch,” Meghan said warmly, before sharing exclusive footage from a recent photoshoot for the show. The montage showed the Duchess in various outfits — from a simple white top to a bold red shirt — before settling on a crisp blue button-down shirt, which now features in the podcast’s promotional materials. Clips also captured her getting her makeup touched up and reviewing photos on a monitor.

Since her return to Instagram earlier this year, Meghan has offered an unprecedented look into her personal and professional life — from glimpses of family time with Prince Harry, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet, to teasers of her Netflix show and her lifestyle brand As ever, launched in March.

Her podcast Confessions of a Female Founder, produced in collaboration with Lemonada Media and debuting on April 8, brings together women entrepreneurs to share candid conversations about business challenges and successes. In one episode, Meghan opened up about her deep involvement in the packaging details for her new brand.

“A month ago, I was absolutely consumed with packaging. Boxes. It’s all I could think about,” she admitted. “I would sit there doing the unboxing in my head: Is there tissue paper? What about the packing peanuts—are they biodegradable? Where does the sticker go?”

She even recalled learning about “porch pirates” for the first time. “Someone said, ‘But you don’t want to brand the outside of the box because of porch pirates,’” Meghan said. “I had never heard that before. What’s a porch pirate?”

In a rare and intimate interview with PEOPLE, Meghan reflected on the supportive network of women entrepreneurs who have been instrumental in her journey.

“What’s been meaningful is being able to talk about my own entrepreneurial journey with other female founders who are either on their own trajectory of growth or have IPO’d, sold, or created high-impact brands,” she said. “We’ve all faced the learning curves that come with building something from the ground up.”

Through her podcast and growing media presence, Meghan Markle continues to blend storytelling, business insight, and personal vulnerability — all in the spirit of female empowerment.
