Tough Competition From Chhaava

The dominating success of Vicky Kaushal’s historical drama, Chhaava, has further overshadowed the film’s collections. With Chhaava crossing the ₹350 crore mark, smaller releases like Mere Husband Ki Biwi are struggling to make an impact.

Plot and Audience Feedback

Directed by Mudassar, the film is a comedy-drama about a complicated love triangle between Ankur (Arjun Kapoor), Prabhleen (Bhumi Pednekar), and Antara (Rakul Preet Singh). The movie explores themes of love, misunderstandings, and second chances.

While critics appreciated the performances of Bhumi and Rakul, the film’s weak script and lack of fresh storytelling have been major drawbacks.

Final Verdict

With such a poor weekday performance, Mere Husband Ki Biwi is on track to wrap up as a box office failure unless it sees an unexpected surge over the weekend. Given its current trend, the film may struggle to cross ₹10 crore in its lifetime run.
